1. What a gorgeous day!
Absolutely love these photos, when the light is low in the sky.........all the pinkish tones, even on the white letters on the sign. I honestly don't have any suggestions. My photos tend to have few people in them, in general. I like the solitude of it.

2. So much wonderful blue. makes me yearn for summer. I especially
like the third one for its stark lines and deep color.

3. All three are very nice
and beautifully done. It looks like you have a couple of spots on your lens though.

4. Long daylight exposures. Me likes

ND Filter? f/32? Divine Intervention?

I'm partial to #2 but I like #3 for different reasons.

Oh, and your sensor is really dirty. Time to break out the Comet and a Scrub Brush.

5. ND filter, ten stops, f/11-22 to be specific,

and sensor dust courtesy the "lovely" Gulf Coast beaches. It ends up getting cloned out. I'd usually go on a rant here about how I prefer film because I generally don't have to deal with this kind of stuff, but I'll leave it be for now.

All the comments so far are appreciated!

6. Go ahead. Sing your film rant. I'll join in during the Chorus
The newer digies have Maytag Washing Machines built in to clean the sensor but I'm not going to upgrade just for that.

10 stop? Wowza! I've been looking at the B&W 10 stop and one of the very pricey variable ND filters with an addon that gives you 13 stops. I have a couple of 'projects' I want to work on and need a good ND. Will have to see how the cash flow goes over the next few months.

I'm doing mostly film in 2011. Have a great place in the basement to build a darkroom but I weighed the cost of building and getting equipment for a darkroom with just having a good lab do my developing. I'm going to just 'out source' the developing for now.

I am always finding new film cameras. I love 'Toy Cameras'. They are so unpredictable which makes them very challenging to use. I'm also a 'Lomo-Head'.

Film and Digital both have their advantages and disadvantages. I just like the challenge that film gives me. I also make my own analog filters that I can use for film and digital. Just picked up a Canon Rebel xs film camera at a Good Will store. Got it for $12.00 with a medium zoom lens. I plan on using it with the Kodak 3200 and push it to 6400 for night street photography. It's small, light, and I can do everything with one hand. Anxious to take it out for a test drive.

Not much of a rant, but I'm with ya' on the film thing.
:hi:
