Carousel-thanks to Saphire & Elfin Yeti

Went to the carousel today in Tilden Park. Here are a couple that I took. What a neat place. I haven't been there since my kids were little. Thanks for the memories!

What a job - really cool.
I was so shocked that ElfinYeti loves carousel horses. Who would have suspected that!
These are a great continuation of the wonderful start made by Saphire.

If I can find it in my nonsensical file system I will dig out some things I collected when I was at the height of my carousel love affair! Hey, I was even a card carrying member of the American Carousel Society and one other whose name escapes me -- they were at odds as one was determined to save the carousels intact and the other to preserve the parts!

Gorgeous photos but it makes me miss the merry go round we used to have here. When I made the slideshow for my daughters wedding, my favorite photo from her childhood was her on that carousel. Brings back memories........
