Okay, here goes. I think I grew a lot this year, even though it was not much of a commercially successful year (who had one of those?), I am on a better track than I was.

Jan 1st Sunset in my kitchen


Feb 9 Picking up kids in ice storm


Mar 30 My first view of the WWII memorial. I feel that generation has always felt that way toward mine. This is proof.


Apr 1 Big Tank at NASA


May 4 Roses and Fence (and the motivation to get the sensor cleaned)


June 3 Bricks at sunset Struggling to try seeing patterns in natural light


July 30 I see you. I believe I continued to improve at macro this year


Aug 22 First Pitch.
Q: How often do you have friends throw out the first pitch?
A: If they are movie stars, all the time.


Sept 24 Top of the world


Oct 19 Take me to the river


Nov 5 Dress flip. Last day shooting a long-lead documentary. Still editing that sucker.


Dec 10 Downtown sky reflection. Pleased with this. Looked just like this.


I don't think this is the best work, just the easiest to get to on my flickr stream at the moment.

Most of the time these days I can tell when a picture is one of yours. That's great, it means you have developed your own style. I'm still working on that.

I seem to recall commenting at the time that I thought it was one of the best things I'd seen posted here. If I didn't and I'm remembering this wrong, let me say it now. It's way beyond outstanding, though it has some heavy competition from the others you've posted here. Just wonderful work.
