Question

I have to say that I've been enjoying the photography forum and it inspires me to take photos. Does the forum ever have little mini-contests in between contests? Or a suggested category of photography for people to share their photos?

Did that make any sense?

1. we have, in the past,

had photo challenges and occasionally photoshop challenges. We've also done "exhibitions" - such as holiday light exhibitions - when contests have seemed inappropriate.

We haven't done any of that for awhile, but I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

2. sometimes people will just start a thread

Post a______photo..........and sometimes they take off (sometimes they don't). We had a great one one time where one photo led to the next one in some way. That was a whole lot of fun, if exhausting. It just takes someone with initiative to start either a serious or fun thread like that.

5. Sounds like a great idea

Why don't you start a category and see what pops up. I'll certainly try to throw something in. Not sure how a mini-contest would work but I like the category idea.

6. I remember a few alphabet threads

that went on for quite a while.

A is for _________, then someone would quickly post a B is for ______________.

Nothing competitive, just fun stuff.

You had to stay ahead of the letters, or you would be looking for an L picture and it would already be up to Q!!
