Las Vegas is a city (IMO) without culture. Yet a city with such a blatant lack of it that it has a culture of it's own.
Money - Prostitution - Glitz - Lights - fake Imitation of old Grandeur, and destitution.

I have been there many times before, the first time in the late sixties. The city now is different and even louder than then, when I was too young to appreciate the great talents performing there who have now died, and whom they mourn still. I could not have afforded to see them, and still can't afford much now.

But I must say, when my son and I reluctantly paid a hundred dollars a few years back to see the "Cirque de Soleil" a few minutes after it had started our faces turned to each other and we said the precise same sentence: "They are not charging enough".

above. My heart goes out to our veterans. Our soldiers are becoming homeless in unheard of numbers, and faster than ever before! :cry:
