1. My dear Saphire!
Wow!

These just knock my socks off!

I love the clarity, the simplicity of these...

The first one looks like the sun is suspended from the lacy tree branches...

And I love the elegance of the second one...

Thank you!

2. Both of these images are very nice.
Being from the Northeast, the second shot really captures my mental image of the end of hot summer day in Texas...fire and water...very elemental. No criticism intended, but the first shot shows a very similar artifact to what I was discussing here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=280x77118. It isn't as pronounced as my example but, it's reassuring to see that it isn't some defect peculiar to my camera (which I was led to believe is reasonably good).

4. love the very red sky
Honestly, these pictures actually remind me that the light is starting to change now, very fast. And I love pictures that face the sun, sunrise, sunset, objects in silhouette and stark contrast. These are great.

7. Love them!
That first on is somewhat oriental in its aesthetics. :hi:

10. Yes, I though so too. Although it reminds me of an ornament on a tree.

9. Hang on to those. How masterful they are!
I'm proud right along with you. I like the second one a little more, even though the first one all but makes me teary eyed with envy. I am clueless how to take such a photo. So I'm glad you can do it.
The more I look the more awed I get.
:)
