Never ever boring - casual imagery of my environs

Does this need a caption? I saw it parked at the Post office and almost fell off my bike.

Then it was lunch time, McDonald's drive through and the two guys in the van gave me the thumbs up to take the photo

A sky to die for

Bringing home flowers for the table

YES I said "May I please take a picture of your adorable dogs though they don't thrill me. i like DOGS.

Then I ran across "Christmas in Florida" and though compared to most of you I surely need not post photos of flowers, I liked it

And finally another bit of insight into the fish with feet. There cannot be enough waves, and enough boats to create the waves, when it is her time in the ocean. There can only be too much of it for me to walk out into the water with the only decent camera I have, and I know you understand what I'm telling you

1. I love your vacations...
and your family. Keep posting photos. no such thing as too much and you could never bore any of us.

I remember when we had a poinsettia in front of one of the arches of the front porch. They are so much prettier when they can grow year round outside like they do in Flalala.

2. All I can hope for is that everybody has some fun along with us (me)
As I posted the snapshots today I realized that any and all of us easily could come up with esoteric entertainment, but we don't have the leisure I currently have to walk about having fun with the camera around my neck.

3. Hope it wasn't as humid for you as me
today or you should have joined mom in the water. She looks so comfy in there. Be sure to let her know she has another fan. You need a water proof camera. Betting those would be some neat photos too.

I somehow lost comments the other night, both on one of your threads and on JeffR's. Been enjoying ever single photo. BTW Terry is in Homestead right now waiting to be loaded, he forgot his camera. He is also getting addicted to Cuban coffee. Shame I don't have zoo keepers for my zoo and that they don't let the take passengers in the truck.

4. These are fun pics, Mira
America is the land of zany automobiles! Surely those clouds are not water vapor, but rather fluffy cotton or wool! The shot you took on your bike with the flowers is cool. I like the shadow. Those dang dogs just exude nervous energy! Is that a baby stroller? LOL! The shot of your mother relaxing in the water is very soothing.

Thanks for the vicarious vacation! I wish we had some of that weather over here! It's almost Herbststimmung where we are. :-/

I'll be heading to Vienna soon. If there's anything you (or your Mom) would like to have a picture of, let me know and I'll try to get a good shot of it.

5. Please continue to post
your vacation pictures. They are delightful!

The "Bringing home flowers to the table", looks like the kind of picture I would take. Your shadow simply makes the photo, finishes it so to speak.

The two vehicles are so colorful, and says a lot about their owners, and yes, that sky is to die for!

I'm glad that you have the time to go out and about with your camera - what fun! And we get to reap the benefits too!

12. You'll be sorry you asked!
Because there is one I would love.
A photo of the building of Trautsohngasse 8. It's near the Parliament, somewhere near Kaerntnerstrasse, somewhere near the Opera.
I lived there from age 10 to 11 with my grandparents. My parents sent me to school in Vienna for one year, and when they did not come for me after the year, I planned it and locked myself into the only bathroom until I heard a voice of a parent outside.
My grandparents had to go to the neighbors john, and I stayed in there with a chair under the handle, as well as having locked it, for 4 days and nights.

Survival was not easy in post war Europe.

To prove I treasure your photo gifts here is the Riesenrad you photographed for me the last time you went to Vienna, it's been on my desktop.

To you others who might see it: Look at the railroad car size containers on what is called the "Giant's wheel" in an amusement park called "The Prater" in the Vienna woods.

11. That red car .....I have a serious WANT for that.
Can hardly wait to show Mr. D. that pic in the am. It would be such a cool thing for us to have around here.

but he would probably like the Vincent Van Gogh van ( Starry Starry Night).
