1. My dear Mira!
What a great sequence!

The diving, climbing boy is wonderful.

And that last one. I see the sunset, and love it...

And then I scroll down a bit, and the bird catches my eye........and my breath.

Thank you!

:hi:

2. Thank you so much.
When you take the time and energy to say nice things about some mediocre stuff I post because half the time it's the best I could do, while still wanting to share the experience,
that's when I remember Valentine hearts and how many brazillion of them you get every year!!!

4. These make me ache for...
...the times in my youth when I did these kinds of things! The adventure and long summer vacations spent doing things that got me dirty, and/or wet, bloody, in trouble...

Thanks for the nostalgia... Now that's what photography is all about! You nailed it even if you are displeased with the technical aspects. It doesn't matter because it speaks to the heart.

6. That back dive is amazing!
Almost looks like he is going to hit the rocks. Wow, all with a sunset. Fabulous!! Love the last one too, but wondering if you were tempted to edit out some of the water at the bottom?

7. The water,
as always, is my favorite part when it glimmers golden.
So it did not occur to me. Maybe I'll play with it, good suggestion, thanks.

10. I know exactly what you mean
I love that part of the picture............ But I wonder what it would look like if the water were to be about 2/3 of it, with the bird dividing the water roughly in half, but still (barely) including that big glistening thing in the ocean on the bottom of the picture.

I run into issues like this all the time--on the one hand I want a particular balance, and on the other I want something included that I would otherwise cut out, due to balance.. Time for me to get Photoshop I guess, LOL.

8. Rip currents? They don't care. Love the last one.

9. Wow!
Great sequence, Mira. The colors in the final shot are really tasty.

I forgot to ask you whether BP's giant disaster has had any impact there yet. If it has, it seems the diver didn't care.

11. Gracias a Dios - the answer is no.
No oil here in the middle Keys, and seemingly no oil in Key West either. That's where it would "round the bend" to come into the Atlantic.
It's something I'm grateful for every day when I swim in the ocean and rock in the waves.

12. That's good to hear.
I'm hoping that the optimistic recent reports are accurate, but the skeptic side of me remains, well, skeptical.
