Summer Vacation in Rangeley Maine
Well, I haven't posted for a long while but got some good pics on our annual vacation to Maine. I must say I so enjoy coming here and taking a look at the great shots you all take! I reply to few posts but admire the work here very much. Hopefully everyone is having a great summer! :)

Used truck...

Into the wild

Fox (no, DU, not THAT Fox)

The "Cliche" Maine Moose picture

Loon from the Kayak...that was a lot of fun trying to get in position to get a good shot. Followed them clear across the pond.

Eagle out on parole (see ankle bracelet)

Deer in driveway. We drove around in the middle of nowhere all week...no deer, found this one just outside of Rangeley on someone's lawn.

Sunset on Gull Pond

After the rain

I have some other good ones but those will have to wait for another time.

1. Oh, love this vacation!
The fox has the weirdest look on his face.

These are so peaceful and serene. They make a great set!

Thanks for stopping by again.

7. Great eye Celebration!
The fox indeed has a weird look on his/her face. We think it was a female headed back to the den with dinner. :)

9. A fox, in the open during daytime?
That weird look resembles hydrophobia, especially in the second shot.

2. Oh, Dwinal87, you've made me cry from homesickness
your pictures are wonderful!!!! The eagle and loon are particularly special. I have such wonderful memories of waking to loons calling... my home in Vermont is at a lake where they nest. Thank you so much for the sweetness these pictures represent.

4. Thanks for the photos
Looks like a great vacation. Maine is one of the states I've never been to but really want to visit. Your photos make me want to even more.

The first one is not your typical vacation photo, and therefore my favorite.

5. I enjoyed seeing these.
Cool wildlife! Such a majestic eagle!

I especially liked the last shot with the pier-both the light and the composition.

8. Some really great shots!
That last one is just so serene. Makes me wish I were sitting on the edge of that dock with my feet dangling in the water.

:hi:

10. What a great set of photos!
The last one is my favorite, but that's not to take away from the others. Good stuff!
