Water Lilies at Anacostia Aquatic Garden (DC) slideshow

The water lillies at the Anacostia Aquatic Gardens, Washington DC, are in full bloom. The gardens are serviced by the NPS and are part of the Anacostia watershed whose ecosystem is dependent on the tidal flows of the Potamac River. Go at 7:30am to see the birds,.. as you'll see. (Most bird pics were taken from 50-200ft away under my stealth/ambush mode.
