Good job on not losing the detail to over exposure. However, in post processing making them a bit brighter might be good.

A gladiolus picture that I like!

Sorry, but I think of gladiolus as funeral flowers. When I was in grade school and junior high we were forced to sing/attend funerals, and I swear, all the flowers were gladiolus.

My apologies for that strange reminiscence.

6. Actually, I agree with you
I have this one gladiolus that somehow got planted in my yard, and the darned thing won't die. But this morning with the low light and fog it became a thing of beauty.
