A Murder At Sunset



Needless to say, those are crows in the above shot. The shot above was a tight crop of the following image:



I'm not sure why, but this has been something I've been wanting to photograph for a while: a murder of crows in flight with the sunset as a backdrop. I'll probably try shooting some more photos at a later date to see if I can get some better shots (and a full size one that's more like the tight crop).

And here's a shot of the sunset without birds but with the local rapid transit system. Not the best picture but I thought I'd throw it in anyways. I was hoping for a better sunset as a backdrop so I'll have to return some other day for another photo.

3. I prefer the non-cropped photo too

It shows more variety in the buildings, making it less generic-city. Also, the distribution of the crows and cloud formations are more interesting and have better flow in the larger version.
