It was only half this size when I left for work this morning... got a quick picture before someone took it away...

1. Wasp nest?

It's hard to tell the scale.

2. each little pot

is about 1/2 inch+ I was just fascinated by how quickly the Potters Wasp built this... and they do look like little pots. They are in a public place so they will be destroyed soon, but they are in a place where there are dozens of cicada killer wasps flying around each morning and they can't seem to control them (that is a good thing, I think)

3. I've never seen this variety before

Beautiful little nests.

I have a wall fountain with water spouting out of Bacchus' mouth. If I don't have it on, a yellow jacket will build a nest in the 1/4" spout. It fascinates me how they find these things.
