Any runners-up for your entry?
If you have some, I would love to see some either in this thread or in a separate thread of that you start. Here are a couple of mine--

Ducks 'n Ripples

Reflected Recreation Rentals

(Bet you guys are tired of my paddleboat photos!)

1. Awesome idea about the "rejects"and I am not tired of blue
paddle boat photos, or any others. Don't remember any. Love that shot.
I would beg for it as a present if I could enter.

And the ducks, along with the water, PERFECT for the contest.
You had a time choosing, I can tell.

2. not tired of blue paddleboats?
Maybe I have mostly had the yellow ones as backdrops. :) They are lined up just so, yellow on one side and blue on the other. If the water is still, I am always looking at a new angle.

I haven't had any trouble picking my entries lately. I just decided to pick the one I like best, and not be concerned about the voting. I guess I could still be undecided, but that hasn't happened in awhile.

But I do love this theme, and everybody should have several to choose among, and would love to see more than just the entries.

3. Lately, two thoughts go through my mind when I enter a picture
The first thought, as I make the choice which to me is often excruciating
(because the photos are my current babies, and I want to be fair),
is the question of: "Can I let this go and be done with it and feel good about it?"

The second is: "I'm imagining this declared the winner. Is it a worthy, winning photo?"

After that it's "send" and off it goes.

Frankly, I think I'm going into a phase of not being pre-occupied with wanting to win. You get over it, I think.
But I was very interested in winning for the first year. Now I'm in year two.

4. Overture in Orchid
I do like this one, and might use it anyway. It's kind of different. I'm in the narrowing down process right now and hope to post something before the day is done.

my camera. It's a shame that I got started so late, but c'est la vie, no?

16. My entire life I have taken photo after photo where ever I went.
Other than bothering the family, and chronicling the goings on in general I did not know what to do with the results until I came here and found a place to pester new people.

You all have been very good to me.
Though I know how you feel, let me remind you it's never too late.

8. I already said it, but your bird and the beach are simply sweet and memorable.
I think it is a powerful entry among what looks to me like a whole spectrum of great work so far.

Some of the chandeliers at Grand Central Station; the bottom one being a reflection of the third.

Love those paddleboats!!

There's also this one. I'm not sure for what other occasion this would be appropriate. Maybe we should ask Glenn Beck.

Not about the light fixtures - but such a visual of Sieg Heil ad nauseam is simply unprecedented.

Your choice was stellar IMO.

It's one I might consider seriously if I could enter.
His number two potential I can't duplicate because I don't know how.
It's the only reason, too.

Watergate building in DC. I just wished I hadn't cut off the peak of the building. As it turns out I used a difference DC shot. The one I chose seems so simple in it's complexity.

and I also considered this train station.
