Awesome selection and one that squeaked in at the last minute.

1. I was really surprised to see mind in the Finals...
But hey, I'm happy!

I don't often do well enough to make those.

Today has been a very good day, and this is just the top!

Thank you!

2. LOL the femrap person
Remember when she objected when she thought too many of our World at Work photos were of men??? She didn't even recognize that a lot of them were women, such as my entry and a cop on a horse. It made me so angry.

I'm pretty feminist myself but, uh, just gotta :eyes:

3. I didn't know that
and probably a good thing I didn't when I responded. Thing is, when I first saw that photo, I didn't even think of sex. I was surprised when someone equated it to a wet t-shirt contest. Second look, well okay, I can see the sexual attraction. But still, that is so not the main appeal to the photo.

4. I didn't read the photo
that way either. But even if it is a sexy photo to some people, so what? That's a bad thing? The woman looks like she's enjoying herself and that's attractive in and of itself.

It's kind of ironic so see someone react that way on a liberal web site. Go figure. :eyes:

5. Those comments surprised me too
I didn't interpret it that way either. Maybe because I identified with the woman in the photo and was transported to that moment of standing in a sudden rain storm, rather than viewing her as a person/object outside myself? After reading the comments, it's more obvious to me how others might interpret it differently.

6. I'd forgotten about that
Those comments annoyed me too. They also inspired an idea that I could actually do now that I have my ironing board out of storage. Hmmm...

7. Somewhere, Gloria Steinem is laughing her head off.
Poor ol' Fishwrap has some very strange ideas.
