iPhone photography: Documenting my meanderings in Miami
Ever since receiving an iPhone for my birthday last September, I've been enjoying the camera, which was surprising because I've always hated cell phone photos as being too low quality and blurry.

But that's exactly the challenge of it. I use an app called http://blog.chasejarvis.com/blog/2009/09/best-camera-iphone-app-book-community.html">Best Cam that allows you to add filters, which come in handy in some cases. Other times, I just leave the photos as it is.

Here are a few samples.

2. Oh, thanks!
These are wonderful photos, particularly in total, as a series. As everyone here knows, I love series of photos, that tell the story of a particular location or event. Yours work out really well.

I just got an IPhone this week! So far I have zero apps. First I think I'll go to the IPhone training at Apple. But I listened to the guy and really like what he said. The secret to photography is really taking a lot of pictures. True! I way prefer candid in the moment shots over posed shots, whether portraits or still lifes. It is so extreme that I didn't even ask for any specific posed shots from the photographer (who had very little experience) at my daughter's wedding. I thought he could just grab people and pose them when he felt like it. It worked out pretty well, too.

I already have taken about 100 pictures on my IPhone. Most all of them are of my grandson, all candid, and I erased over 80% of them.

3. Very nice.
While researching spotting scopes I happened across some iPhone images taken through a small telescope. They were of the moon. and were very good.

5. Love the super saturated ones.
The one of the flags being my favorite. These are really arty, in the best sense of the word.
