Flowers and Door

1. The color in those flowers may be sumptuous

but for me, the colors in the door photo are equally so. There's so much I like about that photo I can't even put it into words, so I'll just say I think it's great and leave it at that.

3. Just where are you hanging out these days?

We are not looking at North America here, not this time of year.
The flowers are brilliant and remind me of "better" times, but that door transports me to South of the Border.
Way south.
Or maybe into the Eastern Block of Europe where I have only peeked in, not really traveled.
I'd love to stand in front of this door.

5. Peru

I took those in Peru last year. I'm putting together a slide-show promo for my next trip south so I've been going through some old files and finally doing some editing and found those.

For some serious envy, it was the middle of their winter there when I took those. For some serious envy, the elevation there is 8665 ft.
