Window shopping for still life
How much is that doggy in the window? - Can't decide if I like this better in colour or b/w.

How much is that troll in the window?

1. I like the B & W
reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode Five Characters in Search of an Exit.

The black and white gives it that ever so slightly creepy effect. I like it.

5. That was a good episode
It took a quick google to remind me, but yes it was creepy. In a good way though.

2. I like the color
But try desaturating it a bit--could get the best of both worlds?

I have to say I like these!!

6. You're right
When I have time, I'll play around with it some more.

3. I agree with Celebration.
That second one would be really eerie! But then dolls give me the willies, anyway! ;)

7. Me too
Especially the old ones with the realistic looking eyes and teeth.

4. In the first one
I like it way better in black and white. With the color, the dog overpowers it.
The second one does not speak to me.

8. Thanks Mira
You're right, the dog just doesn't really fit with the other toys. I think I might play around with the saturation levels, like Celebration suggests.

9. I'll be very interested to see the change once you desaturate.
I felt bad about turning off to the second like a switch. I think I had a nightmare once that had one of the characters in it, and I hit send too fast.

10. Sepia?
Sepia might be interesting to try too. (If you haven't already tried it.)
