2. Make sure you are copying the URL address
and not any of the other choices.

3. I signed up on photobucket
I think I have it now - the second try with a pic of stan went through, but I should probably reduce before loading.

I appreciate all the help, thanks so much.

5. Ah
A brand new world opens up after you learn to post pictures.

Here is a hint--if you are not sure you have it right, click preview instead of "post message". That will let you view it the same way it posts. If it looks right, then you can click post message.

I have to do that. Invariably, when I post a series of pictures, I post the same wrong url that you did from Photobucket, at least on one of them.

4. The url should look like this:
http://blog.ricecracker.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/snowSM0007.jpg
  If there's anything after the jpg, erase that.  

Go to the image and right click it, there should be a menu
that pops up.  It should have something like copy image
address or copy image url.  highlight that and release the
mouse button. 

If you are on a Mac and you have a one button mouse, hit
control, click and then hold the button down until the menu
appears.  Choose what item you need.
