Black, White, and Sepia
Just a couple of moody pix from my recent travels.....

Leaky Faucet

Joe Pool Lake, at Cedar Hill State Park, in Cedar Hill, Texas, is spilling over its edges, as a result off all the rain that's fallen this Fall. Or, maybe someone just left the faucet running..........

Million Dollar Road House

At the intersection of Million Dollar Road and Highway 35, in Menominee, MI.

The Sepia Bridge

Briarwood Park, in DeSoto, Texas, offers a nice respite for a beautiful Fall.

1. very nice
I love the first one! I think I have seen the Tennessee River at about every level possible so I certainly relate to that. It's a bit funny, as well.

It's a very cool looking house, too.

5. Thanks.....
.....I had a good laugh myself, when I came across that faucet.

And I was so focused on getting a nice pic of the house that I completely overlooked the seagull propped up on the chimney, supervising my artistic endeavor.

2. Were those camera settings or post production?
Still learning digital, although I haven't totally abandoned 35mm yet.

3. I love that second shot!
You got the light balance just right. I love how you can see such detail in the house's shadowed side!

7. The larger the picture.....
.......the better feel you get for that terrific textured surface. So, I was lucky to only have had to do some minor cropping, and then light fill to compensate for the heavy shadow on that side.

Appreciate the nice words.........glad you enjoyed it.
