Add the next picture

I had an idea for a thread where someone posts a picture they've taken and another person replies with a picture that has some relation to the first photo, then a third person replies with a photo that's related to the second photo, and so on. For example, someone could post a picture of the Brooklyn Bridge, which could be replied to with any number of pictures: another bridge somewhere, water (since that's what bridges typically span), a game of cards (bridge), the control center of a naval vessel (bridge), a picture of Dodger's Stadium in Los Angeles (originally from Brooklyn), a picture of Manhattan (also a part of New York City), and so on. If the link from your photo to the previous photo isn't clear, or is tenuous, explain the link. No big rules here, this is just for fun, and hopefully a venue to end up discussing a little photography here and there. Use your award-winners, or use the throwaways, whatever works in the context of linking your photo to the previous one. I hope this doesn't sink like a stone, it could be fun.

Cool, this seems to be working out ok--thanks all. To recap: upside down Spiderman to sitting Spiderman to someone sitting in a way similar to Spiderman but looking at a mountain (beautiful shot, btw) to a shot featuring chairs and a mountain, both of which were present in the previous photo. And now a picture featuring a crowd of people.

Though of course we never are really ordinary, which makes this forum so much stimulating fun for me.
The unexpected leaps this can take, while being completely in keeping with the task at hand, is fabulous. In the spirit of things that get posted to go on for a while, this is the first one that has ever grabbed my attention.

I wonder what avenues we will have traversed by tomorrow this time.

Is this the Devils Bridge in Sedona?? I've hikd the Devils Bridge and it was so crazy how skinny the "bridge" appears from afar, but when you walk the bridge it was much wider than I anticipated. Great picture! :)

Celebration, I didn't mean to abscond--just got busy with work for a couple of days.

Thank you both. I've had fun looking at the pictures--I think that collectively, we have a lot of good photographers, and this turned out, by happenstance, to be a good way to showcase some of the great pictures DU'ers have taken.

As to starting another thread, someone else can do that, if and when it seems appropriate. I've had my fun, and I need to spend some time scouting my wretched backyard looking for subject matter.
