HullBoss just gave me a webcam for our anniversary so I can do video conversations with the kids in CA and Heather and Robby and fam when they move to Denver the end of the summer. I don't have a clue what I'm doing with this thing, but I did take a picture. So hello to all of you from me in my computer.

Same length as mine, but happily minus the twigs and small animals caught in mine, and all the gray.

You'll get the hang of the webcam thing. I would have got one years ago but I was afraid of scaring off friends and family I correspond with.

You know I got over a foot of my hair cut off before I went down to CA and gave it to Locks of Love. I think I lost a couple of pounds in the process. :)

I'm just lucky about the lack of gray. I don't dye or anything, but I just have a few white hairs here and there...good genes passed down from my dad, I guess. I feel pretty fortunate for being 62 years old. (Yikes, that sounds old.)

3. That's not old.

It's just "not quite so young" as before. I read today that Sir Paul just turned 67. Who ever thought that "When I'm 64" would become nostalgic for a Beatle? :)

4. I seem to always make typos

when I'm being snarky with someone about THEIR typos. It never fails. Someone on the Anchorage Daily News website this morning commented about "statues" allowing Palin to exercise exemptions to her disclosure forms. So what do I respond? "Incientally, "statues" most certainly don't allow Palin to exercise ANY exemptions."

"Incientally"? Really? I felt kind of stupid, and there's no editing function. Oh well...

It's possible that only statues are allowing Palin to get away with this, since the statutes don't.

6. You're lookin' damn fine in your blue sweater, Blue, and you're younger than me

by a couple of hairs. I have that thing on my laptop, and will NEVER turn it on. It scares ME away.
I, too, am not turning gray, and that's about the only thing I have going for me as I'm getting old.
(My Mom is not gray, either)

7. I was setting up a friend's Mac for her a while back

when suddenly this stranger appeared on the monitor. ACH! Oh wait, that's me. I had accidentally activated the iPhoto something or other. Fortunately my own computers are too old to have that function.
