Question - Nikon Coolpix 5900/7900 Face Priority and Red Eye (Pet Pix)
Edited on Thu Jun-30-05 05:46 AM by Coastie for Truth
Just a dumb question about pet photography in the "Face Priority" and "Red Eye Prevention" modes.

It doesn't seem to do anything for full face shots of my cats. I know that if the eyes are in focus --- then the rest of the facial features "appear to be in focus." But, what I m getting is the nose in sharpest focus - and the eyes are just behind the depth of field. I guess I will have to "spot focus" on an eye.

But that kittie cat "yellow eye" is spookie. Anybody else get this? Fixable in Photoshop. Just takes time.

Here's one where I got Sophie to look off at an angle (no kittie cat yellow eye) and got her left eye in the center of the image (for sharp focus).--->
