A few from our trip to DC (Dial Up Warning)
Now that Shrub is gone and we could actually visit without our heads exploding, Diane and I decided to spend a few days in Washington DC. We went a couple of weeks ago but I haven't had time to post any shots until now. Here's a few randoms out of the literally hundreds (Hooray for SD cards!) I took; (We also visited Gettysburg and Frank Lloyd Wright's "Falling Water". I'll post shots from them when I'm able)

The Washington Monument (Slightly Photo-shopped)

Detail of flags at it's base

Statuary at the US Grant Memorial

I think you probably know who this guy is

Fala and her person

A face fit for Rushmore

The Flame

The Wall

B. Netanyahu leaving the Capitol

1. Beautiful shots
I love the reflection on the wall.

Do they still have barriers around the Washington monument?

3. This warms my heart and makes my senses very happy. A great little travelogue,
where you captured many perfect shots. I love that you got such winners of the circle of flags, I have tried and could not do it.
And the wall is spectacular, a winner which asks for exposure to larger groups.

I will be looking for more, especially the "Falling Waters". I have never seen it, and, of course, wanted to.

4. I've absolutely loved
my three trips to DC...

Abe, the Vietnam Memorial and the eternal flame...

Wonderful and touching shots!

5. Just inspirational.
And of the God knows how many photos I've seen of The Wall, I think yours is my favorite.

I'm salivating at the thought of seeing more photos from your trip.

6. The Wall! Wow!
That is an incredible shot! I was there many years ago and the mental images haunt me still. Very nice work!
