1. Beautiful. Perfect colors and such detail. The color in the clover is so rich.
I'm glad things are OK with you in SC, do you smell the smoke?

2. Thanks for checking
the fires are mostly many miles away and on the other side of the intercoastal. I'm really pretty amazed this happened. It has been a cool spring with plenty of rain. The winds are blowing the smoke North into North Carolina.

I can tell you from my by-gone days fighting fires - that there is no fire hotter and harder to fight than these. Get on the wrong side of one of these and you are in a world of hurt.

It was calm as could be this morning and I was hoping that would help firefighters get ahead of things - but as the day went on the winds really picked up. No rain in the forecast - period!

On the brighter side - here is another wildflower from lake swampy...

3. Good - I'm glad you're OK, and thanks for responding.
It worries me, these fires are uncalled for, like you said. We are not parched and it is a tragedy.
Your third photo is marvelous in a different way. It's clarity and frame, against the backdrop, makes it the one that has your individual stamp on it.
