I remember very carefully framing this (and it being a real challenge) to photograph this in such a way that a little of the railing shows for the purpose of showing the enormity of this thing.

By the way, the orange flowers in the foreground of the first two pics are Desert Globe Mallow -- I have some in my front yard, they bloom all summer and add such nice orange-red highlights to everything!

That last shot is very cool, and eek! scary...
