Pretty funny. Lance would be the first to admit that his dogs are the heroes and the true winners in this race. For what it's worth, he won the "humanitarian award" this year, an honor voted on and bestowed by the veterinarians along the trail to the musher who best cares for his dogs. The one and only mark against him was one of his dogs had a toenail that was a bit too long. As Lance said, "My toenails probably need a trim, too." :rofl:

Lance may be grungy but he's really a wonderful, down-to-earth person who has overcome exceptional odds, and he absolutely LOVES his dogs.
