I agree about getting stuck in the contest themes.

Last month I started seeing "Red" everywhere. Now I'm still focused on doors and gates. I haven't found a red door, though.

Duh. I now remember the posts where you take people's temps, or take polls. Yes, we all have that indecision.

Every single one of these shots I found today, had not considered them therefore.
I am in the process of slowly emptying some old PCs of photos, and gathering them with a portable harddrive on my new high power/capacity computer called OBAMA.
I have an old laptop I have not even fired up in over a year, and it is full of photos.

I am an old woman,:) in years, and have a camera with me at all times, the pictures accumulate.
And still all I do is point and shoot, but I bought a tripod on Craig's list recently.
Priceless.

I have been extraordinarily fortunate to travel, a lot of it not on my dime, lots of travel for business, and then my family is in Europe and CA.

In a month I start with a couple of friends to drive almost all the way across the country in a VW sleeper bus. Sedona, Taos, El Paso, Painted Desert, Canyons, Hikes. I'm closing my business for 3 weeks.

I pretty much say yes to every opportunity, for the simple reason of "if not now, when?"

I won't present you with MY bird photos when I come back, I don't do those. I learned seeing your work and others that I can't produce them. But for the rest, you never know what I'll drag in.
