I know what I want to shoot for this contest, if I get the chance. In the meantime, I found these.

1. The first of course make me laugh, and that's a good thing. The red door

intrigues me - did you lie on the steps backwards and shoot up? :)
fascinating angle - and pretty color and door.

2. That was shot with a 12-24mm lens

And the slightest shift off a horizontal axis immediately introduces perspective distortion. Which I've discovered is half the fun of this lens.

Interestingly, I was planning to shoot another doorway using exactly the method you describe, but it's been rainy and I haven't had a chance to do it yet. :)

3. Remember the girl in "The Exorcist", I thought it was shot on a backwards rotation

of the head.
