This guy came to install a new DirecTV system at my daughter and son in law's house, I was there to let him in and keep an eye on things while they were at work. We kind of hit it off and I thought he would make a good portrait subject so I offered to shoot him and make him a print on the spot.. Only took three images and the exposure was off in the first two, this is the third and final shot (he gets paid by the job so I didn't want to take up much of his time).

He's got three kids and his wife loves pictures.

There's a method to my madness. ;)

I'm learning to "be the flash" like they say on strobist.com, I couldn't have done nearly as good a job three weeks ago. I would have had it exposed nicely and framed OK but the lighting is what really makes the shot. Showing form by lighting is what I'm learning now.
