Simulacra
Anyone have any interesting simulacra photos they'd like to share (simulacra in this sense = spontaneously recognized figures or faces in naturally occurring phenomena)?

Here's one I took last September of a rock formation that resembles a face in profile at Mt. Lemmon north of Albuequerque:

1. I still don't see the face, once I do, that's all I'll see - here is one

what I see is a gator kind of creature devouring something. Orient yourself by the thing that looks like an eye a bit to the left of center, and open mouth with teeth

9. In mine
The face is in profile, looking left. Think "pointy nose" and the rest should fall into place. I love yours!

16. I see......
....a pelican, with a fish in its mouth.

But, lately, I've been seeing lots of pelicans, so who knows.......

Either way, it's pretty neat.

7. I think she's
lonely. Just one rock on a hill all alone. Sort of sad looking even before the photoshopping.

12. Animal running down hill

that's what it looked like to me and that's why I took the picture. The body I think is deer-like, the face like an aardvaark who swallowed Salvador Dali and only the mustache is remaining in his mouth.

13. I've got trees with ears and eyes,
but I cleared them out of PhotoBucket some time ago, and it's going to take some digging to find them. Tonight, after I'm done working.
