It's rare I go into the yard. We got rid of the grass years ago and now it's used solely as our own private dog run. It was nice to find some modest little vistas to shoot there. Bonus: the snow makes it much easier to see if you're about to step in something regrettable...

waiting for the wind to drop for a moment. That one was manual focus, IIRC, but the rest were auto focus as it quickly got too cold to be fiddling with anything but the shutter.
