3. Would this be by the Nantahala Falls?
I've bee to this part of NC and it was the prettiest part of Atlanta, Anderson SC, Greenville SC and Asheville NC that I saw...

and we Ashevilleins would take great offense at being lumped with Atlanta, Greenville and Anderson

this fall is off US 221 near Marion, NC

5. Please don't take offense to my vacations!!
My vacation consisted of flying into Atlanta, driving to Anderson and then a loop up through Asheville and back through the Nantahala. I was not lumping cities together, but rather just explaining how I had come across the Nantahala. Don't forget to have pride in the part of the country you come from... it doesn't revolve just around the sleepy little town of Asheville :)

I did not mean for it to sound so severe... and to answer your question, no.

McDowell county is on the extreme east end of the mountains, off I40... you were more west

...and, if I may make a small suggestion, I think it would look even better with a slight crop off the top to remove the bright sky.
