And it would be a night shoot.








These were taken from a couple hundred feet away (no photo pass, grrrrrr) so noise is a factor, but I'm not blowing these up to posters, so ....

1. VERY nice...
And, BTW, if you're going to do a lot of night/low-light shooting, you made a good choice, since Canon sensors are generally considered the best at high ISO.

Yeah, I'm always drawn to the challenge of night. Costco had a very nice kit sale/rebate, it included an 18-55 and a 55-250, IS on both.

As far as noise goes, the XTi controls it very well, as your third image shows.
BTW..... who's the band?
