what do you guys think of this?
It's going to go on an invitation for a pretty big event at my work.

At the top will have our name.

and underneath will be the tagline "pioneering a new industry"

What do you think of the image?

1. I think the empty chairs kind of take away from the message
either fill them or take them out.

3. If you are going to put type over the image,
ghost the black and white areas back to maybe 40%. Use a vignette effect to get a smooth transition. Your type will stand out better that way.

I like the image and the chairs don't bother me. They will lessen in importance if you vignette the image anyway.

4. Nor sure exactly what you are trying to show on
the invite. The guy working alone is the assumption. If it is then maybe the color just on him and what he is doing and NV Whino's suggestion to fade the sides. Example:

Though I did put a touch of blur on the faded parts (.02 Gaussion Blur) to remove some of the sharp highlights.

5. I like this one better.
The focus is on the guy working. Nice post processing.
