the offer to give away a free bound book with all the contest entries. Also, apparently the free hosting service that the person was using for the photos also offered prints of each photo for sale (I don't think there was any profit being made by anyone other than the site-host/printer).

Some people were adverse to the idea, others liked it.

Due to various issues and complaints, the offer was withdrawn and apparently several people on both sides of the issue are upset.
