It's Spargel season, the weather is picture perfect. The beer is cool. Couldn't ask for more, except the ability to still go skiing. (sigh)

3. I don't think you can water ski on the German lakes
at least not mine. Only windcraft are allowed on it. Rescue vehicles are gas-powered. Might have to go to Italy to do that? Lago di Garda?

I don't dive, can't because of ear problems, hubby is recontemplating the BMW GS again, it's a fabulous touring bike for two. :hi:

8. The tracks have long disappeared
it's just pristine and green everywhere. I hope to get out today and take some local pictures.

Thanks re: my girl, she's one in a million. We're very proud of her! :hi: BTW, if your daughter is at Hahnemann, chances are Meg might have crossed her path, that's where all her classes were, in the College of Nursing and Health Professions.

9. No tracks...?
...no diesel smell...no torn-up cobblestones...no plowed-through wheat fields...no angry civilians?

Good, it's about time...those are some images that stay with me though...

Re: daughters...they may very well have crossed paths...Beth had classes at university as well as rotations through Hahnemann for different learning blocks. This summer she starts her surgical rotations through two hospitals in New jersey, and one rotation at Hahnemann, so...no rest yet for the kiddo.

Looks like we'll be heading towards you and MissHoneychurch this summer(which is to say we'll be on the same continent as y'all)...going to spend a couple of weeks with friends in Lourmarin, France.

I'm thinkin' I'll take the camera...

:hi:

14. Not final yet, but looks like around the end of August.
Our friends there are going on their own vacation, so we will have the use of their place. It is dependent on what dates they finally choose. :D

16. 2 days and then 6 days in a small village (on a farm)
close to Rothenberg.

So yes, that might be fun. My better part, CLYRC, is also a DUer (although not a heavy poster)... she is a heavy lurker however...
