Why is my photo for sale on another DUer's site?

I certainly didn't give anyone permission to sell copies of any of my work. Yet here is my photo, with a shopping cart under it. That's not acceptable.

It was the default setting. Didn't even realize it was there because I don't "see" what you see when I'm logged on to the site..... like anyone would actually pay for a low res image. :crazy: Yea, I've make making a fucking fortune.

I guess we truly do live in an ownership society. :eyes: I just stopped home to feed the dog. When I get back later tonight I'll remove any photographs with your name attached to it.

I do a small amount of freelance photography, and yes, I do own the copyrights to my own photos. I say that without any shame or apologies. That's how artists can afford to work.

I doubt anyone would buy a low res version, as you pointed out, but finding it there at all, let alone for sale, without my permission, was a bit of a shock all the same. Thanks for taking it down.

3. Why didn't you PM me to begin with?

That would have been the courteous thing to do. But nooooo.... you go crying to every DU mod and Admin that you could find. You didn't even give me a chance to respond... and I told you that I'd be gone.

The couple of little things I've done for this group I've done with my own limited free time and my own money.

The photo album is already printed so I can't remove your snapshot. And I fully intend on doing with it as I please. None of the 3 copies will be sold. :eyes: I have the first two copies promised and I'll just give the 3rd away to someone else.

In the future you should try communicating with people when you have an "issue". But something tells me that communication isn't within your realm of comprehension.
