The mobile home remodel is completed!
I posted photos a couple of months ago about my remodel. Well, it was done in early March, and it looks fabulous! Here's the other link if you want to see the before photos:

7. The boss of the house, of course!
At least, Sterling thinks so. Since he's an old man of 13, he has quite a bit of seniority over me!

8. I'm thrilled with the floors!
I've gotten a couple of small area rugs since the photos were taken, and I will get a large one for the living room soon.

Those are red oak strip wood laminate. I got them off efloors.com for .79 cents a square foot!

3. You did a nice job.
Now if you could come over to our house, the puppy broke the screen door, chewed up a rocking chair, and there are a few (million) repairs we've been deferring for too long on top of that.

Enjoy your home! It's always that much better to do when you've put your own hand to making it what it is.

9. Thanks, Jeff!
I'll have to decline your kind offer. I'm tired of remodeling and repairs at the moment!

10. Thanks!
I had a housewarming party last month and it was a lot of fun. I posted printouts of what each room used to look like before the remodel in each room, so people could see the difference!

COPD? Take care y'self. :hi:

NeatniK? You sure keep things neater than I do. (I look around here and wonder how I got to be such a slob.)

12. AAT Deficiency (A1AD)
It's a genetic disorder that affect the lungs and liver. Full name is Alpha 1 Anti-trypsin Deficiency. It does cause COPD, but I don't have it yet. I only use O2 at night because my levels drop below 90% when I'm asleep.

And yes, I'm a bit of a neatnik, I seem to have become that way as I've gotten older. When I was younger, I was not neat at all.

13. I can see that explains the absence of ashtrays.
:dunce:

We have one here for my mother's use at night for the same reason - O2 dips below 90%. As a light smoker all of her adult life, she's got mild COPD at the age of 88.

15. I feel like an 88 year old some days!
Good for your mom for making it that far. I have to admit I was pretty depressed when they first told me I had to be on oxygen at night at the age of 47. It made me feel like an 80-year old woman. But you gotta do what you gotta do, right? It has helped my O2 sat both at night and during the day.

19. He does love it!
He has his favorite window perches in the living room and my bedroom. We have a morning routine, where I feed him, and then I *have* to go open all of 'his' blinds so he can see out during the day while I'm at work.

Is that a faux-stone tub surround, rendered in paint? Looks like a nice job.

It's self-sticking floor vinyl! It looks good, though, and it was very inexpensive.
