5. I had a cat photo too, don't tell F.Gordon!!

But I went with the homeless guy I see every year in Cannes.

He sleeps in this huge Victorian gazebo on the town square near the Hotel D'ville. I was surprised to see him there AGAIN this past November.

16. Coming up with a title is kickin' my butt.

Anyone else have problems with titles?

Sometimes it's right there, and sometimes it takes longer than deciding which photo to post.

Maybe what I thought I had just isn't there. When I asked my husband to look at it and give me his idea for a title, he started singing ... "Tiny Bubbles".

So I killed him.
It had to be done.
He left me no choice.

If you don't mind my asking - What are those frames for? Is it a water skiing thing? That's the closest guess I could come up with. Never seen anything like that before - but I don't get out much.

26. There's a small company that runs booze cruises out off a small pier

at the North end of Plum Island

There used to be a much bigger pier, but for whatever reason it was stripped down and a system of floats is put out there in the warmer weather. You can see the little array of them sticking out the water though, in the satellite shot above.

I divide birds into about five categories, swimmers are ducks, flyers are geese, ground birds are sparrows, black birds are crows, and the rest are various colors, look at the pretty bluebird.

It's not a great picture either, but I thought it was funny for a "duck" to be walking when there was so much water it could jump into.

24. I went to the Carriso (sp?) plains one year with the Audubon Society

to watch the sandhill cranes come in to their winter feeding grounds. My two friends and I, all of us novice birdos at the time, were continually puzzled when the caravan of cars would suddenly screech to a halt and multitudes of of people with binoculars glued to their eyes would pile out and stand looking at what we three described as LBBs. Little Brown Birds.

I like your system of identification. Keep it simple. I also like your "duck."

after lurking in the Biden group, I've finished licking my wounds. I then proceeded to the GDP without my fireproof underwear...didn't get them for christmas like I asked. Coal...not so fireproof:shrug:
