~~~ The February contest theme is Water's Edge ~~~
Beaches, rivers, lakes, ponds, pools, buckets... anything goes.
I'll confirm this shortly, but I'm aiming to open submissions on February 9. So you have a couple of weeks to find some water and shoot it.;-)
3. Aw, thanks, Jeff!
I never want to win one of these...
The thought of running this contest terrifies me!
My goal is to get into the second round...
Silly, huh? :silly:
4. It's not that hard
Though one wouldn't know it from the serial mistakes I made the last time I did this.
Come to think of it, I haven't yet got through it again error-free. Pray for me!
5. What is the acceptable Water to Edge Ratio?
:silly:
50/50?
I'm still trying to figure out what a Diagonal is so it may take me awhile to figure out this whole water-edge thing.
:dunce:
8. Thanks
It worked out OK for a desperate, scrounged-from-the-archives snap.
10. Ha! Serves me right!
When I left for the weekend "shadows" was winning, and I shot shadows all weekend. :rofl:
I'll have to see if there's any, ah, non-firm water left in CO. :D
12. I have a question about this contest
Does the water in water's edge have to be in a liquid state? Everything around here is frozen now.
13. Frozen water is water
Can't see why it needs to be in a liquid state.
14. Cool!
Since I'm hanging out up to 90 feet under water in Cozumel this week, I may actually be able to participate. Does under water count as the water's edge???
