18th century French theater

on the magnificent Place Stanislas in Nancy.

I took this shot yesterday before a rehearsal when the light was really pretty.

And here's the same "Place" reflected in an ornament on an X-mas tree. (The theater is the second building to the right of the statue.)

A closer look at the gorgeous metalwork on the gates surrounding the square:
