Nice shot. Probably could use a little noise reduction. Any EXIF info available?

The current theory on bird photos is that regardless of what lens you have, you are always 100mm too short.

so I may have screwed it up there

and I may have over magnified him... I may have issues with my televonverter and this new lens

Unless they land within 3 feet of me and I use a wide angle. But I'm still waitin' for that to happen.

but it is as close as I've come to anything like Maestro and others have posted here. Sure, the fur-feathers and genus stuff matters, but this is as close as I am likely to get. (If it was a "she" then it was a "bird" in Brit vernacular, so maybe it gets into the contest, and even if not, who can claim the gender ID of the subject was not as a "she" and thus a "bird.") So I will enter this as my best "bird" pic. (edit to fix wrong link)
