Is there a photo hosting site
that will allow you to upload raw photos without compressing them and also with option of buying prints of those photos?

2. Thanks
I've been a member there for a long time; back when it was called Ofoto. They compress the photos if I am not mistaken and only accept Jpeg photos. I'm looking for something that accepts higher resolution forms such as RAW. I am getting an SLR soon and want to be able to get professional prints at high res.

3. Raw photos are many MB in size.
Depends on the camera/scanner and settings, and are not usually viewable without some conversion process. The file that is best for viewing on the web would certainly be much smaller, and converted to a compressed format that retained all (most) of the viewable subtleties of the original at a tenth or 1/100th of the RAW size. The sites that do what you want are commercial operations specializing in digital printing, but I have no idea which ones allow "galleries" as a part of their service. Look in the Shutterbug website for ads, and Popular Photography.

4. Raw is specific to camera
so they can't be supported directly.

I recommend SmugMug if you want prints, Flickr if you don't.

Be aware that selling prints is a pro level membership.
