Please give a big welcome to little Ellie Rose.
My 41 year old brother and his 38 year old wife had a little girl on 12/28. They named her Ellie Rose. This is my brother's first child and his wife's second. (Little Ellie has a 20 year old big brother) Needless to say, little Ellie was a bit of a surprise to all, but a very, very happy surprise. Ellie and Daddy are doing fine, however Mommy had a rough time with the delivery. She had some bleeding and had to have radical hysterectomy, and if that wasn't enough, later on they had to go back in and remove an ovary. Mommy went though 16 pints of blood and is now in the ICU. She is doing much better now and is expected to be released by the end of the week. In the mean time my bro is taking care of Ellie with a lot of help from his three sisters and five sisters-in-law. (Us brothers are giving him plenty of moral support too).

3. What a little sweetheart.
Congratulations! Best wishes to your sister-in-law. I had my last child at 39, and I know it's no picnic, although I didn't have quite these problems, just a long and painful time of it. But that's all soon forgotten.

5. Welcome little girl!
You sure are pretty. I mean really, for just being born, she is gorgeous. She handled it quite well.

6. Beauty baby, beautiful shots!
These shots are heirloom quality. I really like that second one. Ellie is so engaged with Daddy--especially for being only four days old! Just lovely.

I hope your sister-in-law feels well-enough to go home soon. In addition to her physical pain, she must also be missing Ellie and David.

8. Congrats on the new beautiful
addition to the family. Sending wishes for good health to all and speedy recovery for mom. Everyone does realize that she will be a Daddy's girl don't they? Great pics of her, keep taking lots because they do grow up way too fast.

She's beautiful, Itchinjim. :)
