1. Never mind...

My husband and I went out for a walk in the beautiful spring weather, and when I came back nobody else had flamed me, so I feel better now. We came across two yearling moose, one on each side of the trail, so I took their photos which I will post later when I get them loaded on here. They were pretty cute.

I was just saying to KenBurch over in the Alaska forum that we Alaska Democrats are damned if we do and damned if we don't. We're ostracized by Alaskans if we're against drilling and ostracized by DUers if we're for it -- or even if we're somewhat neutral, it seems. Ah, well...tomorrow's another day.

Edit to add my mooses. I could have probably gotten better shots, but I was a little nervous about getting much closer to them.

5. This one definitely looks like he has his eye on you. :-)

We were kind of freaked yesterday because we saw the one little one on the left of us, and then when we saw the one on the right, we were afraid it was its mother ... but they were both small, so maybe they were just siblings. Whatever -- we were looking over our shoulders for a while as we headed on down the trail.
