I could have sworn I posted these sunset shots here last night...
...but apparently I forgot to hit the submit button after reviewing them. Apologies to InTheFlow or anyone else who caught these in the Lounge.

1. Yipes!
That first one looks like a 19th Century painting, while the second...what can I say?

2. It was a beautiful evening...
Like I've said before, sometimes you just need to point and shoot. Plus, I love, love, love my Sigma 10-20. It's perfect for these kinds of shots.

5. Another set of great sunsets.
I really like both but leaning more toward the first one, but might be because it is different. It does look like a painting.

6. Were you hanging out in my neighborhood last night?
The second photograph is the one I wanted to take of the sunset last night, but my camera was 15 miles away at the crucial moment!

7. I hate it when that happens...
There was one day last week when the sky was just phenomenal, but we were out looking at tiles for the bathroom at the time. By the time I got home and out to the sunset spot, it wasn't nearly so cool, even though I took a couple of shots anyway. It seems like especially this time of year I almost need to have myself positioned an hour ahead of time to catch the really good light.

8. It seems to happen in this particular location all the time...
I stop at the supermarket halfway home and walk back out to very dramatic skies (both storm and time of day related). Every once in a while I'll just hang out in the parking lot and stare at the sky. (I try not to stop in the middle of traffic...) I'm sure all the natives think I'm nuts - but that wouldn't be the first time.

9. I'm glad I'm not the only "sky freak" here.

10. Not by a long shot.
I have a ton of sunset pictures from our trip to Australia that my spouse just flips by very quickly, after all they're "just" sunsets...
