More texture opinions needed,
I went and tried to shoot a few more maybe photos. Not going to do a poll but looking for opinions. Could also use title suggestions.

#1

#2

#3

#4

Including the PO'd bird begging me to get a little closer so she can tear into my flesh. She refused to stick her tongue out for a pic.

2. You think it does well for
texture then? It is hard for me because there is an emotional attachment. I mean he has only been a part of the family for 14 years now.

3. I like it for texture.
especially the feathers on his little head. I want to touch him (carefully) with my index finger. Is he friendly?

4. He is a sweetheart
at least to me. He prefers women, men not so much. He was only a year old when we got him but from what I was told he was abused that first year. It took years to get him to want me to touch him. We went from drawing blood to toleration and now he begs for attention. Once he warms up to you he is fine and it is easy to tell, pupils stay one size you are safe, pupils start contracting and expanding don't even think about it. Plus he doesn't seem to mind the camera and not try to bite me like the lory does.

6. First one, definitely
It's an impressive batch, but the first one nails texture and succeeds on all kinds of levels. Great photograph!

7. I should of just headed for the
birds to start with, but I was trying to not take the easy way out.

Thanks everyone, I now have my entry and know it isn't just my emotional attachment.

11. I'll have to save that for a
what is it abstract. It is a tree branch in the sunset, a very alive tree branch. The tree is a corkscrew willow in my front yard.

12. Hey, what the hell is going on here?
I already voted for the damn Spider Web. I kinda' like #2 .... quite a bit. But I seem to have some problems wrapping my brain round' this whole texture thing. So, I guess #1 it is. Titles?
