Yes, that's what I remember of Sante Fe. The day I went was a holiday, so there were no street vendors out. I think you did a very good job with lighting in the second photo, as you can actually see the vendors and shoppers. It's hard to take photos in bright sun that also allow for the shadowed areas to be visible.

2. Yes..the bright sun does make it difficult
not to mention that my little ol' digital is about 7 years old... I so want a new camera! But, first am purchasing a house....priorities, priorities....
