After the rain, Mississippi -style
Rained like a mofo here at Hurricane Camp a couple days ago.

As you can see, I live in a hippy commune. :P

2. Woodstock, exactly!
Love the first pic. The tents look like boats.

The sky in the second pic makes me really nostalgic for the Deep South.

4. Of course it was your thread that inspired me!
I drove home from work in this pouring rain, and all I could think was, "I can't wait to take photos of the sky like Jeff did!" LOL! I'm such a nerd!

3. That first pic looks like tent
boat combos. Great pics and glad I am not sleeping there. More kudos to you for not only going in the first place but for going back and sticking it out.

5. I have always slept indoors down here.
But it's amazing how many long-termers moved inside after this storm! Those particular "floating tents" mostly house Americorp kids. They're very resilient--just hung up their sleeping bags to dry and went on with their lives.

7. Smart move on your
part and I can't blame anyone for moving inside after seeing these pics. Kids are tougher than they are given credit for these days.

6. Ok. Tell me again what you're doing down there
:spank:

Has utbs seen that last photo and don't the gators come out after a strong rain?

I like the 2nd... my fave. And of course the modern day Woodstock with the young "stud muffins".
:spank:

Hey... I've been really good lately.
